Our Founder of the WAS is Claire Amos, a registered Nurse and an independent prescriber (BSc Hons) with a background in intensive care, District nursing, and palliative care specialist nursing. Claire is a finalist for the safety in beauty awards 2024.
Claire has great empathy for her patients and is an industry driver of safety in aesthetics. Claire has an extensive background in aesthetics and has been practicing for 14 years with a very successful clinic.
Claire has her level 7 diploma in clinical aesthetics as well as being a level 3 trainer and an IQA. Claire is the director of the Safer Aesthetics Training Academy in Wales, which is a VTCT-regulated centre offering the diploma in clinical aesthetics and also CPD-accredited courses.
Claire regularly attends conferences all around the world and recognises a gap in the market in Wales.
Claire felt this was a unique opportunity to help aesthetic practitioners in Wales and nearby countries by offering an aesthetic conference.
