Meet Our Founder, Claire Amos
Highly Commended Clinical Educator – BAMAN | Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber
Claire Amos is the Founder of the Welsh Aesthetics Symposium and a highly experienced Registered Nurse and Independent Prescriber. With a strong clinical background in intensive care, district, and palliative care nursing, she brings over fifteen years of experience in medical aesthetics, where she has built a successful clinic and become a recognised advocate for patient safety and high professional standards.
A Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma-qualified practitioner, Claire is Director of Safer Aesthetics Training Academy, a VTCT-regulated centre. She has mentored over 500 students and delivers accredited qualifications and CPD programmes focused on safe, ethical practice.
A finalist in the Safety in Beauty Awards 2024 and a winner of highly commended in 2025, Claire launched the Welsh Aesthetics Symposium to bring high-quality education and collaboration to Wales.
Her mission is clear: to elevate standards, strengthen professional confidence, and shape a safer future for aesthetics.
